The Filson Historical Society’s museum collection includes this sheep horn collected by William Clark on the expedition and given to his sister Fanny. It was presented to The Filson in 1929 by Fanny’s great-grandson Rogers Clark Ballard Thruston. Many historians believe that this is the only verified animal artifact from the expedition.
